Minnesota Loons Winter Open Tryout
Spring/Summer 2025 Lacrosse
The Minnesota Loons provide supplemental tryouts that are open to the public periodically throughout the year. These events provide an opportunity for prospective athletes to immerse themselves in one of our practices. Our staff will run our current Minnesota Loons members as well as prospects through drills, scenarios, and training. The staff will conduct drills that are pivotal to our style of play and methodology. Fun, fast paced setting with a lot of hands on instruction from Loons staff!
The Open Tryout will also provide an opportunity for players to fill potential roster positions for Minnesota Loons for the 2025 Summer season. All guests will be evaluated for open positions (per team, age, and position). The Loons staff will connect with athletes the following week after the event for potential opportunities.

"I wanted to take a moment today to thank you and your crew of coaches and organizers for the incredible weekend with the MN Loons in Colorado.
From the hotel choice to the hypnotist to the choice of tournament to the professional team photographer…everything was so geared towards a positive team lacrosse experience for the kids. I hope a lot of recruiters come calling for those 23 boys. They are special.
We had a great time!"
